Recognizing the impact of training providers and instructors
The GWO Safety & Training Awards is the world’s first program of its kind recognizing the skills and impact of training providers and instructors keeping the wind energy workforce safe on site.
About
Welcome to the GWO Safety & Training Awards 2021, the world’s first program of its kind recognizing the skills and impact of training providers and instructors keeping the wind energy workforce safe on site.
Every year, GWO training providers teach vital safety and technical skills to tens of thousands of wind energy workers across the world, helping them stay safe on a turbine before returning home to their families at the end of an assignment. It’s not about one individual, but the team.
How does your team go the extra mile? Does your company train the most realistic scenarios that accurately replicate a wind turbine environment? Are your instructors always up to date with the very latest learning objectives and how to teach them? Has your company delivered GWO courses in a new and innovative way that helps students learn better? Perhaps your business has contributed to the industry’s safety overall?
If you think your company deserves to stand out from the crowd then don’t delay! Awards are open for entries from all GWO Certified Training Providers. Show us how you deliver value beyond the standard, enter the GWO Safety & Training Awards 2021 now!
Why Enter
All GWO Certified Training Providers are essentially “the same”. They must deliver a standard and meet the requirements for training providers. But they can of course go beyond the standard, and a great many do so.
In a competitive market with over 370 training providers in 42 countries, employers have a lot of choice and if you’re an award winner, this may just tip the balance in your favour. Winners of a GWO Safety & Training Award are judged by a panel of experts who know what it takes to deliver value beyond the standard.
GWO Certified Training Providers should enter because:
– A GWO Safety & Training Award is the mark of quality
– Generate long-term value for your training site by showing how you deliver value beyond the standard
– Winners, runners up and highly commended entries receive authorized use of the title and logo for marketing purposes
The Event
The GWO Safety & Training Awards 2021 ceremony will take place on Wednesday April 28th at the Wind Europe Electric City Conference & Exhibition in Copenhagen, Denmark. The ceremony will form the centerpiece of the theatre programme at the GWO Safety, Skills and Training Zone, a unique 600m2 area dedicated to the safety of our workforce. Obviously in these uncertain times, there remains a possibility that physical events are not possible. In this event, we will ensure the awards will continue as a digital event.
